Camp Oak Spring, 228 Weston Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 8002
About
Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey Summer Camp offers summer day camp, troop camping, and family camping, along with hosted events. Campers can climb the rock wall, canoe on the lake, shoot archery, zip line through the woods, go on a hay ride, go geocaching, hike, check out the Girl Scout HerStory Center, and take part in boating, swimming, and zip-lining.
• Schedule: Summer camp registration is available online, and a short video is available to walk families through the steps to register for Summer Camp.
The program follows the Girl Scouts mission that Girl Scouts discover who they are, tap into the power inside them, and build the confidence to let it shine, and that through programs from coast to coast and overseas, girls of all backgrounds and abilities come as they are and create their own paths. The mission states that each step becomes part of the journey, and along the way, participants explore their passions, develop hands-on skills, and discover tools they need to lead with joy on their own terms. The mission also states that challenges do not stop Girl Scouts, that they discover their strengths in science labs and on hiking trails, at cookie booths and in front of city councils, and that, backed by volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, they are part of a lifelong sisterhood of powerful change-makers who are always on their side, because the world deserves to see their full potential and they deserve to experience it.
Summer Camp 2025 staffing positions emphasize building skills like leadership, communication, creativity, and decision-making. Camp maps are available to view for each camp property. An interest form is available for those new to camp to learn more about Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey summer camps.
Free Summer Camp Open House days are offered where families can meet staff members and take a guided tour of camp, with Camp Directors on-site to answer questions. Community Service hours are available for participants in Camp Service Days spent helping the Rangers and Camp Directors get ready for the upcoming season, including trail maintenance, touching up paint, and cleaning cabins and dining halls, and participants are instructed to bring lunch and the whole family.
