Summer Explorations offers customizable weekly enrichment workshops spanning science, art, technology, and sports. The program also includes early childhood creative play and a Leaders in Training program for students in grades 7–9. The program is led by certified teachers and runs on a 14-acre wooded campus that is a certified wildlife habitat with indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including state-of-the-art technology labs, gymnasiums, maker spaces, science labs, libraries, an athletic field, nature trails, a brook, a pond, outdoor classroom patios, educational gardens, and playgrounds.

Founded in 1930 by Elisabeth Morrow and Connie Chilton, The Elisabeth Morrow School states that its shared purpose is to provide exemplary academics and character development in a diverse and inclusive child-centered community, inspiring students to become curious scholars, ethical leaders, and global citizens. The school educates students from more than 55 communities in Bergen, Hudson, and Union counties in New Jersey and Manhattan, the Bronx, and Rockland counties in New York.
