About the provider
A Child’s Place has been a place for young children to create from their own imaginations, to be themselves, to become a whole person eager to explore the world. Curiosity is nurtured to form an early love for learning that fosters and supports future higher-level thinking. The school has been in operation for 50 years and is licensed by the Department of Children and Families. Certified educators are mentioned for the Half Day Nursery, and the All Day Nursery features certified teachers and assistant teachers.
- Extended Care — children · Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:00 pm
Children must be toilet trained and may not wear diapers or pull-ups to school. The school is peanut-free; no peanut butter or peanut products are allowed. Parents are notified before each trip and must sign a permission slip. Sibling drop-off and pick-up options are available. The school does not give standard report cards; it provides detailed observations and formal written evaluations in January and May.
