The club states that it is dedicated to the promotion and organization of youth soccer at both the recreational and competitive level, and that it is committed to the development of its players and coaches in order to allow them to reach their fullest potential and to instill sportsmanship and fellowship while developing a community spirit among all of its members. New Providence Soccer Club notes that it is celebrating 50 years, begins its offerings in Kindergarten and continues through High School, sponsors teams in various leagues for both pure recreation and high-level Club Flighting teams, and follows a philosophy of accommodating players of all skill levels and abilities while encouraging teams to be competitive but not at the expense of player development. The club describes an annual NPSC Cares day that includes NPSC clinics, games with the NPHS players, and a chance to give back to the community.
