STEAM Works Studio offers hands-on activities in robotics using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and VEX, 3D printing and modeling, and animation with SCRATCH and Blender. The program also includes work with lasers and optics in physics, maths beyond schools, website design, Java and C++ programming, practical electronics, and Arduino projects.
STEAM Works Studio has been active from 2014–2022. Its stated mission is to spark creativity and bolster a deep interest in science, math, and arts in children and young adults through hands-on practical learning by “Making.” The program focuses on 21st century and STEAM skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration in a hands-on and practical learning environment. It features hands-on practical learning by “Making,” a personalized student STEAM roadmap to track progress, a sharable student portfolio of all projects and subjects learned, a fun award system and real-world practical problems, small class sizes, preparation and challenge for VEX Robotics Competitions, LEGO JrFLL, FLL, and Mathematics Olympiads, an expertly designed creative and fun curriculum, and STEAM kits for home use.
