About

Little Ivy Academy offers hands-on projects where kids build and program a range of real and mobile robots, invent electronic smart gadgets, and develop and launch electronic inventions. Participants create and code their own video games, interactive stories, smartphone apps, and dynamic websites, and also have options to program and produce artificial intelligence and design and deploy spy tech. The program also includes opportunities to film and edit digital stop animation videos, special effects videos, and digital movies.

• Ages: 4–14 years old

Little Ivy Academy offers hands-on afterschool STEAM labs on its own campus, in local schools, and through AcademyOnline, along with online and onsite programs for schools, libraries, camps, friendship groups, clubs, and Scouts. Its summer camp brings together a community of kids ages 4–14, with projects that meet children’s abilities and concepts that fit their interests, as well as time for both indoor and outdoor summer camp activities. Programs run by age from pre-kindergarteners through 8th graders and are available by location, including AcademyOnline, a Ridgewood campus, and an SJR, Pascack Valley/Rockland County area option, with afterschool labs also offered at multiple local schools. Little Ivy Academy states that its mission is to make learning about technology fun, challenging, and personal, with programs that provide real, hands-on experience, real science and real fun, and a differentiated learning approach that fits each child. Schools, libraries, and camps also bring Little Ivy Academy programs to their students, patrons, and campers through Little Ivy Solutions.
