Winston Summer on the Hill

The Winston School of Short Hills, an independent school serving students in grades 1–8 with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and ADHD, is proud to offer its Summer on the Hill day camp for Summer 2026.

Running Monday through Thursday from June 22 through August 6, Summer on the Hill provides a balanced blend of academic support and engaging enrichment—designed to keep students learning, growing, and having fun all summer long.

Daily Schedule at a Glance

• 8:15 AM Early drop-off begins
• 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Morning academic block (includes break)
• 12:30 – 1:00 PM Lunch (delivery service available)
• 1:00 – 2:30 PM Afternoon academic or enrichment block
• 4:00 PM Pick-up (extended day enrichment available)

Morning Program: Academic Skill Building

Students strengthen core skills through interactive lessons and games, including:

• Reading
• Writing
• Math
• Executive functioning

Afternoon Enrichment: Fun & Exploration

Afternoons are filled with hands-on, engaging activities, such as:

• Sports and fitness
• LEGO building
• Minecraft
• Art and creative projects
• Baking
• And more

Students are grouped by age to ensure an experience that is both engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Led by Winston’s experienced faculty, Summer on the Hill offers a safe, supportive environment where students can maintain progress, build confidence, and form lasting friendships.

Camp Weeks

• Week 1: June 22–25
• Week 2: July 6–9
• Week 3: July 13–16
• Week 4: July 20–23
• Week 5: July 27–30
• Week 6: August 3–6

The program is open to both Winston families and the broader community. Additional offerings include:

• Early drop-off and extended day options
• On-site lunch options
• Speech and occupational therapy with Winston’s certified SLP and OT professionals
