Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County After-School & Youth Programs include educational activities, fitness and recreational activities, music, games, and recreation. The program also includes practicing healthy lifestyles, cultural knowledge, community service, mentorship, leadership activities, positive social interaction, and a Friday Nights at the Club initiative designed specifically for teens.

• Schedule: Every Friday during the school year from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County offers after-school programs for healthy lifestyles, academics, community service, and recreational activities, and the programs empower the youth and help rebuild their integrity and self-esteem. In 2004, Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County was officially made a chartered member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The organization focuses on at-risk youth and reducing the community’s juvenile delinquency problem, and it is strengthening partnerships with local school districts. The Claude L. Rozier “Rev” Memorial Scholarship was established to honor a Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County employee who dedicated 16 years to uplifting youth and strengthening the community. The organization also notes that people can donate a car, boat, truck, RV, Jet Ski, or snowmobile and receive a tax deduction.
The leadership team includes Carlos A. Mercado Jr., Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director; Taryn Allison, Unit Director; Rosemary DeQuinzio, Unit Director; Ute Propert, President; Jennifer Negron, Vice President; Carolyn Kaspar, Secretary; Sandra Weber, Treasurer; and board members Diane Fischer Cristiano, Alex Kaganzeva, and Jeromi Semidey. Carlos A. Mercado Jr. has more than 30 years with the Vineland Fire Department, where he recently retired as Captain.
