New Mexico Rapids Soccer Club Youth Programs include a Youth Soccer Academy, Sunday Starters Sunday League, and Youth Academy entry level programs for U5–U8 players. The program also offers Girls ECNL RL Platform competitive play and hosts events such as an Annual Golf Tournament and a College Commitment Recognition Social. Additional activities include The Center Facility Rental and a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in New Mexico through T‑shirt sales.

New Mexico Rapids Soccer Club has been serving Albuquerque and surrounding communities since 2001. The club is a non-profit soccer club and is described as New Mexico’s premier youth soccer club fielding boys and girls players 4 through 19 years old. It is a premier soccer teaching club that stresses individual development as equal as team success and welcomes all levels of play from beginner to advanced with a “Home for Every Player” mentality. The club uses a professional teaching curriculum that extends from the professional team down to three-years-old.
The mission of New Mexico Rapids Soccer Club Youth Programs is to create and maintain an environment for youth soccer players from diverse backgrounds that encourages and inspires them to reach their full potential both on and off the field. Eleven NM Rapids coaches earned USSF licenses during the 2025–26 season. The leadership team includes Wyeth Carpenter (U13–U19B Director and ECNL/ECNL RL Assistant Director), Alex Arvizo (Youth Academy Director), Chris Lovato (Director at NM Rapids SC), Aidan Yeamons (ECNL RL Director for NM Rapids), Jason Moran (contact for Rio Rapids SC), and Margie, who is the contact for social media procedures at [email protected].
New Mexico Rapids Soccer Club is part of the Co Rapids Alliance Program. As a member of the Co Rapids Alliance, players have direct access to the Colorado Rapids Development Academy through visible scouting and direct coaching and curriculum ties. Teams participate in the Girls Academy, Boys ECNL, USYSA National League Desert Conference, and locally in the Duke City Soccer League, as well as in the Girls ECNL RL and DPL, and Boys ECNL and ECNL RL.
NM Rapids Girls Academy Teams ran a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in New Mexico through T‑shirt sales, raising $5,678.65. The NM Rapids Girls Academy Teams also make a global impact and give back through soccer. The club hosted its College Commitment Recognition Social at Power Ford in Albuquerque, NM.
