Young Dancer Summer Workshop

The Young Dancer Summer Workshop includes daily classes in ballet technique, character, jazz, modern, mime, and body conditioning. The program also offers workshops in injury prevention and dance history, along with meet the artist sessions with ABT Company Dancers. At ABT’s in-person Young Dancer Summer Workshop, classes are held from approximately 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, during the session running July 6–July 17, 2026.

• Price: Tuition: $1850 USD

The workshop is a day program only, and no housing is provided. Level size will be limited. The stated mission of the workshop is to provide serious young dancers ages 9–11 and 12-year-olds at the beginning pointe level with a professional yet nurturing environment. The faculty members of ABT are described as outstanding and provide instruction that is sensitive to the developmental needs of younger dancers. The program focuses on building a solid foundation in ballet technique and educating younger dancers about related topics in the world of dance, and the workshops in injury prevention, dance history, and meet the artist sessions with ABT Company Dancers are described as enhancing the young dancer’s experience and facilitating future artistic development.
