Compass Arts Creativity Project is a nonprofit corporation. Gina Samardge is a certified Orff-Schulwerk Educator. Andy Reinhardt is a graduate of the music conservatory at SUNY Purchase with a focus on composition. Juliet Strong has a degree in vocal performance from the University of Oregon, received actor training from California Shakespeare Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theater, and holds a certificate of distinction in vocal pedagogy from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College. Katey Dolezal studied Classical Piano Performance with Claudia Chen at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Aixa Garcia holds a master’s degree in music education.
Compass Arts Creativity Project has a Platinum Seal profile on Candid. Gina was selected as a Time Out NY Kids’ Top Choice for her sing-a-long birthday parties. The children’s musical Space Pirates! is a winner of the 2015 Children’s Musical Theater Festival. The magazine Jazziz wrote that Andy Reinhardt’s second CD Jason’s Chord “might be the best progressive album of the year, if not the entire decade,” and the December 2006 issue of Guitar Player featured an article examining his approach to songwriting.
