Yanarella School of Dance

Yanarella School of Dance offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Tumbling (Acrobatics), Combination Classes, and Dance with Me (Mommy & Me). The program includes a full-year schedule that begins in December and runs until a recital in November, along with Introductory Courses and Summer Camps.

Yanarella School of Dance has been guiding and instructing students since 1957. The studio states that its philosophy is that every child should have the same opportunity to dance, regardless of talent or ability, and that “There is no can’t in dance. There’s only a C-A-N.” The faculty is described as experienced and knowledgeable, keeping up with trends and innovations in dance education and artistry, and providing instruction in a stress free environment. The studio performs and participates at various functions in Beacon and the greater Hudson Valley area throughout the year, including Beacon’s St. Patrick, Memorial Day, and Spirit of Beacon Day parades. The studio also attends various workshops and competitions throughout the year that are open to students who meet the studio’s requirements.
