Elementary After-School Programs offer a core set of activities that include supper and socialization, homework help, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and literacy enrichment. The programs also include recreation activities, conflict resolution, clubs, and a community circle. Each elementary after-school program is unique and tailored to the needs of the children and the school where it is located.

CAMBA began in 1977 as a small merchant association in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. CAMBA is a non-profit agency that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. CAMBA provides over 170 programs in over 100 locations citywide and serves over 72,000 individuals and families each year, including nearly 10,000 youth. CAMBA’s programs operate in over 100 locations citywide, including homelessness prevention in Staten Island, supportive housing in the Bronx, employment training in Manhattan, after-school programs and college access in Brooklyn, and family shelter and support in Queens.
