About
BAX Youth Education Programs includes the 2026 Drag Summer Arts Intensive, where participants explore the art form of drag through dramatic play, character work, lip syncing, costume design, and creative movement. The Drag Summer Arts Program is taught by Kelindah bee at the BAX Annex.
• Ages: 11–14 years old
• Schedule: July 20–31, Monday–Friday; July 6–31, Monday–Friday
BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange is a multigenerational arts incubator that nurtures artistic practice, centers community, and advances racial and cultural justice through education, residencies, and performance. For over three decades, BAX has honored the power of performing arts to connect and transform individuals and communities, and its youth education programs annually invite over 10,000 students, parents, families, artists, and audiences to engage in shared creative journeys. Many Art by Construction Workers (ABCW) artists are parents of BAX alumni and longtime members of the BAX community, and some helped physically build BAX’s Park Slope home when it moved there in 1998.
