Junior Chef Youth Programming is part of New York Kitchen’s educational hands-on cooking classes and programs. The program takes place in a setting that also offers wine and craft beverage classes and experiences, industry certification courses and training, and a 100% New York State tasting room.
• Schedule: Open Tuesday–Sunday with general hours from 11 AM to 6 PM; tasting room hours extend later Thursday–Sunday (*hours subject to change)
New York Kitchen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and thriving communities by leveraging the stories of agriculture, food, and craft beverages to inspire creative exploration of the bounty of New York State. The organization’s leadership team includes an Executive Director of Donor Relations & Development, a Director of Food & Beverage Education Programs, a Culinary Education Manager, a Beverage Education Manager, a Tasting Room Manager, and a Facilities Manager. New York Kitchen is involved with the New York Wine & Grape Foundation as a Business Partner, the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance as an Associate Partner, and the Meet Your Local Farmer Fair in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County.
