Dream Big! Summer Experience gives children a chance to learn, play, and grow during the summer. The program takes place in a safe and welcoming environment. It was created in response to the social-emotional and academic gaps created for rural children by COVID-19, and has led to strong friendships, powerful insights, and true transformation among the children served.
The Rural Outreach Center became an independent 501(c)3 in 2013. The program is connected with the Rural Outreach Center, whose mission is to improve the lives of the rural poor in southwestern New York by breaking the cycle of generational poverty. Leadership at the Rural Outreach Center includes Dr. Frank Cerny and Maria Knickerbocker. The Rural Outreach Center has partnered with FeedMoreWNY to provide food boxes to community members in need.
