Town of DeWitt Recreation Youth Programs and Camps

Town of DeWitt Recreation Youth Programs and Camps offers before and after school programs, a summer day camp, sports camps, art classes, nature programs, and soccer. The summer day camp includes arts and crafts, sports and games, musical arts and drama, special events, and field trips. The program also includes special events and field trips as part of its youth offerings.

The program’s mission statement is “We’re building community!” Town of DeWitt Recreation partners with local instructors and organizations to offer a wide variety of fun and informative programs, and also to offer a wide variety of great programs. It manages rentals for all Town parks and facilities and the electronic community signs, and it manages the Food Sense program, which offers quality food at affordable prices to help individuals and families save on monthly grocery bills. DeWitt is described as one of the only municipalities in the area to offer before and after-school programs to children in grades K–6, and its long-running summer day camp welcomes over 200 children every year.
