About
Syracuse Children’s Theatre offers instruction in audition preparation, dance and movement, music, and scene work. All classes and camps culminate in a production that focuses on musicals, which combine acting with dance and song.
• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Semester-long classes and one- and two-week school break camps throughout the year
Through Syracuse Children’s Theatre instruction and performance, students in Pre-K through Grade 12 learn the fundamentals of theatre. Syracuse Children’s Theatre has been a theatrical training ground for the children of Central New York since 1999. The organization is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit. The leadership team includes Todd Ellis, Founder and Executive Director, and Kellie Ellis, Associate Director.
