NCPAL HQ Activities is part of the Nassau County Police Activity League, which operates youth clubs and offers sports, crafts, educational, and other programs of a team and individual nature for boys and girls in Nassau County. With over 40 activities, programs, and sports offered across its units, the program is part of a larger organization that serves over 20,000 participants each year.
NCPAL has been serving the youth of Nassau County for more than eight decades. Its mission is to operate youth clubs and provide sports, crafts, educational, and other programs for all boys and girls in Nassau County regardless of race, religion, income, or disability, with the intent of preventing juvenile delinquency, steering children away from gang activity, and aiding in positive interaction between police officers and youth. NCPAL has 31 units across Nassau County and has successfully facilitated police officer, community, and youth interaction and involvement for over 82 years. NCPAL has the largest Special Needs Unit in the nation.
