NCPAL HQ Activities is part of the Nassau County Police Activity League, which operates youth clubs and offers sports, crafts, educational, and other programs of both team and individual nature for boys and girls in Nassau County. The activities are intended to prevent juvenile delinquency, steer children away from gang activity, and support positive interaction between police officers and youth. NCPAL HQ Activities is one of 31 units that together offer more than 40 activities, programs, and sports, with over 20,000 participants in NCPAL programs each year.
NCPAL has been serving the youth of Nassau County for more than eight decades. NCPAL has successfully facilitated police officer, community, and youth interaction and involvement for over 82 years. NCPAL has the largest Special Needs Unit in the nation.
