The After-School Kids Program offers homework help, recreation, enrichment activities, and a meal. The program meets on weekdays in the afternoon. Activities take place at the Youth Center – 50 Cottage St.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The program is connected with The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army’s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army describes itself as an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church, with a message based on the Bible and a ministry motivated by the love of God. Leadership for the program includes Majors Tom & Barbara Duperree, Major Tom Duperree, and Major Barbara Duperree. Community involvement includes partnership with United Way of Greater Niagara.
