YWCA of the Niagara Frontier Youth Services offers affordable childcare, before and after school care, kindergarten readiness, day camp, preschool and Playroom Plus, summer programs, and Universal Pre-K. The program also provides youth services during the summer and the school year for families who use these options.

The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier was formed in 2015 through the merger of YWCA Tonawandas and YWCA of Niagara, and with the combined histories of both organizations, it encompasses a legacy of over 100 years (1913–2019) of involvement in social justice and community engagement. The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all, and its mission is to increase equal protection and equal opportunity for women and girls of color. These services and trainings are provided to local schools and community groups to enhance community safety. A crisis hotline is available 24 hours a day by call or text at (716) 433-6716, and the organization focuses on helping victims of sexual and domestic violence find hope and healing. It provides safe housing for the homeless, impoverished, and those in need at Carolyn’s House and crisis housing facilities, with 283 formerly homeless women and children in stable YWCA housing each year. Each year, 768 families rely on the YWCA school age care programs to provide a safe, educational environment for working parents, 40 marginalized women receive unemployment and training skills in a safe environment returning them to the workforce, and 1,468 women and children receive comprehensive domestic violence and sexual assault services.
