Programs at the Challenger Learning Center of Lockport use space exploration as a theme and include Space Missions, Public Space Missions, School Missions, and Virtual Missions. The program also offers a Planetarium, Summer Camps, After School Programs, Birthday Parties, Homeschool Programs, Extra Venue Activities (EVA's), Scout Programs, STEM Resources, Second Saturdays, and a Robotics Club. Programs and services are offered all year round and are suited to a wide range of interests and ages, with new events and programs being developed and updated, and many options available after school hours, in the evenings, and on weekends, with flexible scheduling.

Using space exploration as a theme, the Challenger Learning Center of Lockport creates positive learning experiences that raise students’ expectations for success and foster a long-term interest in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) to motivate them into careers in these fields. The Challenger Learning Center of Lockport is a community-based, learning-oriented organization geared towards enriching the minds of youth and adults.
