YMCA of Central New York Camps

YMCA of Central New York Camps offers activities that include swimming, boating, arts and crafts, fine arts, horseback riding, field trips, archery, sports, team building, and character development activities. The program also uses facilities that include spaces such as a gymnasium and basketball courts, an indoor pool, an indoor turf field, an arts studio, a boxing gym, cardio and strength equipment areas, racquetball and handball courts, tennis courts, a therapy pool, a women-only fitness center, and indoor and outdoor play spaces and fields.

The mission of YMCA of Central New York Camps is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. All of the camps offer financial assistance and inclusion programs to those in need, and scholarships are available. Overnight camping opportunities are provided through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Rochester, with options at Camp Cory and Camp Gorham. Immunizations, IEPs, and Medication Consent Forms are required and are due to camp administration by June 1st or upon registration if a child is registered after June 1st. The YMCA of Central New York acknowledges with respect the Onondaga Nation, firekeepers of the Haudenosaunee, the Indigenous peoples on whose ancestral lands its facilities now stand.
