YMCA Camp Evergreen offers activities that include archery, canoeing and boating, sports and games, arts and crafts, swimming, nature studies, and character building. Camp Evergreen has been the perfect location for children to spend all, or part, of their summer since 1933.
Camp Evergreen is led by Jesse Kanaple, Associate Executive Director; Dominique Barr, Camp Evergreen Director; and Ashley Downey (She/Her), Access & Ability Director. Camp Evergreen is accredited by the American Camp Association. It is recognized as our nation's oldest continuously operated day camp, and scholarships are available. The YMCA of Central New York acknowledges with respect the Onondaga Nation, firekeepers of the Haudenosaunee, the Indigenous peoples on whose ancestral lands its facilities now stand.
