Little Pals Preschool offers a language-based curriculum supported by Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Music, Pretend Play, Blocks, Fine Motor Manipulations, Sand/Water Table, and Arts & Crafts centers in each classroom. The program includes Little Pals Summer Camp, UPK, day care services before and after preschool programs, and before/after school programs for elementary children from Pine Tree and Sapphire, as well as after school care for kindergartners and first graders. Children also participate in gross motor activities and the Handwriting Without Tears program, and Speech Therapy and Evaluations are available on the premises.

Little Pals Preschool is a Christian Preschool and New York State licensed Day Care, registered with the New York State Education Department and described as a New York State Certified Day Care facility. The curriculum has been expanded to meet New York State Core Standards and incorporates the NYS Eat Well, Play Hard nutritional program. The director and head teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. The leadership team includes Director Angela Nardo, MS-CCC-SLP, Assistant Directors Melissa Graziano and Jessica Nardo, and Office Manager Yissell Monahan. Under the direction of Angela Nardo, MS-CCC-Speech Language Pathologist, the staff applies strategies to encourage speech language development and language use throughout all activities. The program states a philosophy that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery, and lists goals that include providing a loving, nurturing, and engaging environment, meeting children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development needs, enhancing self-worth and positive feelings toward learning, developing communication and learning skills, and developing social skills through play and interaction with adults and peers.
