Smith's Clove Park Youth Programs
Smith's Clove Park, 133 Spring St, Monroe, NY 10950
About
Smith's Clove Park Youth Programs take place in a park that features over 15 different sporting fields. Many sports leagues use these fields for recreational activities, and the park offers recreational activities and programs for all ages throughout the year. Families can also register as members of the dog park so their dogs can play there, and pavilion rentals are available for events, parties, or gatherings connected to youth programs.
• Schedule: Park hours are 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, with park office hours Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm; additional park ID office hours listed include Friday, May 29 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and Sunday, May 31 at 1:00 pm for park IDs.
Monroe residents must have a valid park ID to register their child for programs. To obtain a park ID, families must bring a valid photo ID and proof of residency, such as a tax bill or utility bill. Harriman residents must come into the office to prove Harriman residency and obtain a registration code. ID cards are required for residents to enter Smith's Clove Park. The program notes that camp does not sell out, it is not a first come, first serve registration process, and registrations will close with no exceptions on June 23. Text and email alerts are available so families can receive information about programs, cancellations, and special events. The Monroe Joint Parks and Recreation Commission holds meetings once a month related to park operations and programs.
