EBL Coaching Tutoring Program offers individualized one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, math, study skills, executive functioning skills, organizational skills, ADHD tutoring, dyslexia and learning disabilities education, Orton Gillingham tutoring, and early childhood learning skills. Instruction uses research-based, multi-sensory techniques, including the Orton Gillingham method, and includes diagnostic and prescriptive tutorial plans for each student based on initial academic assessments. Students are matched with instructors specifically trained in appropriate research-based, multi-sensory methods, and tutors collaborate with other teachers, therapists, or learning specialists working with the child.

Tutors are described as highly trained and Master’s Level instructors who provide individualized, diagnostic and prescriptive instruction using research-based, multi-sensory techniques, including the Orton Gillingham method. Workbooks authored by Dr. Emily Levy, including Strategies for Study Success, Flags and Stars Orton Gillingham, and Flags and Stars Multi-Sensory Math, are used at schools nationwide.
EBL Coaching was founded and is directed by Dr. Emily Levy, a graduate of Brown University who holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Doctorate Degree in Education from Nova University in Florida. The Flags and Stars Orton Gillingham workbook has been awarded the top entry as a standout at the L.A. Times Festival of Books. Dr. Levy has been honored by Inc. Magazine as one of the 10 Most Admired Business Leaders Shaping a Future in 2024 and is a 2023 honoree of Power Women of Long Island.
