About
Elliott’s Classes offers gymnastics, ninja, an art/story program, open play, and free infant classes. Trained instructors in these programs apply “The Elliott Method,” which combines movement science and child development theory. Classes are described as success-based rather than skills-based, applauding a child’s willingness to attempt challenges.
• Ages: 0–14 years old
• Schedule: Class and open play options Monday–Thursday between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm; closed Friday–Sunday. Summer 2026 schedule is out and enrollment is open.
Elliott opened the first Elliott’s Gymnastics Class Center in 1992. The current leadership team includes Aria Willoughby, owner of Elliott’s Classes and lead coach; Irandy Reyes, office manager; and Elliott Cortez, Ph.D., a child psychologist and former gymnast who developed “The Elliott Method.” Aria Willoughby is a USA Gymnastics certified coach and pursued a degree in behavioral psychology. Irandy Reyes received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Modern Dance Performance with a Minor in Psychology from The University of Oklahoma and is fluent in Spanish and English.
The stated mission of Elliott’s Classes is to help families provide their children with strong emotional, social, and physical foundations through a range of unique classes. The program states that classes are designed to enhance students’ development and enrich other areas of their lives such as learning, speech, listening skills, and social behavior. Elliott’s Classes describes its culture as based in community, with active discussion about how caregivers can encourage a child’s development, form positive behaviors, and understand their needs. The program also offers free infant classes for babies beginning at 6 weeks, as part of building a strong network of resources for families.
Testimonials from the program emphasize meeting each child where they are, building strong self-esteem at young ages, and guiding children through big feelings. Other shared messages include, “it’s not that you can’t do it; you just don’t know how to do yet,” and, “We should always try our best doing something new before we say no thank you.”
