NYC FIRST STEM Programs include hands-on work in STEM, robotics programming, citywide robotics competitions, computer science, digital fabrication, non-digital fabrication, mechanical engineering, electronics, and sensors. The program uses tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, miter saws, drill presses, metal saws, and other equipment at its STEM Centers to support these activities.
