The Orchestra Cup - National Orchestra Championships features orchestra performances by school orchestras from across the nation. Each performance is adjudicated by orchestral professionals and educators from around the nation, and every orchestra receives recognition for their dedication and commitment to their art. The event is exclusive and invitation-only, with programs not invited able to apply for evaluation and review by a selection committee.

The National Orchestra Championships (The Orchestra Cup), produced by Forte Productions, has the stated mission of providing an unprecedented, world-class showcase for America's most outstanding orchestras. The event is custom fit for orchestras, including the venue, adjudication, clinicians, format, and scoring, with a focus on providing the highest level of performance excellence experience for participants. The Grand Champion is the recipient of the Orchestra Cup.

The National Orchestra Cup team consists of professionals from performing arts, hospitality, business, entertainment, and education. Forte Productions, Capital Management Group, Inc. is a member of MENC, ASTA, ACDA, The International Festival and Events Association, The Student and Youth Travel Association, NTA, ABA, The Better Business Bureau, and other organizations that benefit their customers.
One orchestra director with thirty years of conducting experience stated that they had never seen as well orchestrated a festival as this one and noted that students are inspired as they perform on the stage and hear performances from leading school orchestra programs. The same director also reported that participation in The Orchestra Cup led to significant publicity and recognition in their home city, including news coverage, newspaper features, letters from state leaders, recognition from the school board, and acknowledgments from local sports teams.
