Briarcliff Nursery School

Briarcliff Nursery School offers a 2’s Classroom, a 3’s Classroom, a 4’s Classroom, Summer Camp, and Toddler & Me. The Summer Camp includes nature projects and experiences, story time, music, creative movement, water and sand play, and crafts. The school also lists classroom schedules for children who turn 2, 3, or 4 by December 1 of the year enrolled.

Briarcliff Nursery School was established in 1947. It is a non-profit parent cooperative, and parents work side-by-side on events and projects including social, fundraising, substitution, library, maintenance, and newsletter.

• 2’s Classroom — Children must turn 2 by December 1 of the year enrolled · Two, three, and five day programs available; 8:55 am to 11:50 am · Teacher/student ratio: 3 teachers for 10 children
• 3’s Classroom — Children must turn 3 by December 1 of the year enrolled · Three, four, and five day programs available; 9:05 am – 12:00 pm · Teacher/student ratio: 3 teachers for 16 children
• 4’s Classroom — Children must turn 4 by December 1st of the year enrolled · Five day program; 9:00 am – 11:55 am · Teacher/student ratio: 3 teachers for 16 children
• Summer Camp — Designed for children, ages 2-5 · Flexible schedule; programs throughout the summer · Camp takes place on the two-acre playground and includes nature projects/experiences, story time, music, creative movement, water and sand play, and crafts.
• Toddler & Me — Age 18 mos. to 2 years

The school is a non-profit parent cooperative. Parents may opt out of participation for an additional fee. All camps, except Toddler and Me, are open to all children whether they attend Briarcliff Nursery School during the school year or not. Briarcliff Nursery School runs camp through August 2nd and then extended weeks of camp are run by its partners.
