About
Camp Hollis offers both a residential camp and a day camp program. Day campers take part in the same day programs that resident campers do and have lunch with the rest of camp. The main focus of Camp Hollis is providing a summer camp experience to youth ages 6–14.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Day camp for ages 6–12 is offered Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., with optional extended care from 8–9 a.m. and/or 4–5 p.m., during all weeks that resident camp is in session
Camp Hollis has been Oswego County’s children’s camp since 1946 and is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego County Youth Bureau, a division of Parks and Recreation. Campers ages 8–14 can attend a full week residential camp experience, and campers ages 6–12 can attend day camp. Camp Hollis serves thousands of county residents each year through the many programs offered there. The mission of the Oswego County Youth Bureau includes contributing to a collaborative network of programs and services, coordinating county-wide youth and family services planning, providing direct and indirect services and activities for youth and families, improving quality of life for individuals, families, and the community, and empowering youth to become responsible members of society. The leadership team includes Brian Chetney, Executive Director of the Oswego County Youth Bureau, and Zach Grulich as a contact for Camp Hollis.
