What's Cooking? is completely nut free and offers workshops and classes that can address allergy restrictions such as gluten-free and dairy-free cooking and baking. The program describes its birthday party themes as inspired by popular TV shows, movies, hobbies, and more, and notes that party themes are described as limitless when it comes to cooking and baking. It states that students are taught everything from kitchen safety to creative everyday meals and that there is an option to create a custom class with four or more aspiring chefs. The kitchen states that it creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe, encouraged, and happy, and that it offers special needs programs for both kids and adults.

According to its mission statement, What's Cooking? believes that no one should feel left out and emphasizes being completely nut free and inclusive. The program is guided by Nadya Sprei, who is described as a passionate personal chef and the mother of 5-year-old Talia. The mission statement also notes that both children and adults are encouraged to learn how cooking and baking can enhance their lives in many different ways.
