About
The Little Red Barn offers a summer camp, a riding school with basic English and Western riding lessons for children ages 3 and up, and an interactive camp with baby animals, activities, and games. Children can take part in tie-dye t-shirt making, riding bare-back, grooming the horses and ponies, and feeding the goats. The program also offers parties and events, babysitting with drop-off on the farm, and family fun hours that give a hands-on introduction to the farm for children and families.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: 2-hour party sessions available
The Little Red Barn offers a special private area on the farm for 2-hour parties with unlimited kids. The program is led by Kate, Frank, KathrynGrace, and Von Blangiardo. Kate decided to give back to the community and created a place where children of all ages, toddlers and up, parents, grandparents, and their friends can visit and experience the animals.
Parents and children have shared that the staff is kind and supportive, and that counselors are friendly and knowledgeable about horsemanship. Families describe the camp as offering one-on-one riding lessons, a balance of structured and unstructured time, and activities such as feeding the goats, grooming horses and ponies, and tie-dye t-shirt making. Children have mentioned enjoying learning about the animals, riding bare-back, and spending time with a baby goat.
