The Warrior Factory’s stated mission is to build physical and mental strength through obstacles and to offer customers of all ages a way to have fun and stay fit, with dedicated Ninja classes, open play sessions, and birthday parties. The mission also states a goal of providing a safe and healthy lifestyle choice for families through this style of activity. The Warrior Factory describes itself as a family-friendly facility filled with positive energy, focused on helping families and friends build strength, confidence, and endurance in both ninja skills and everyday skills, and as a “Fun-ness” center that combines fitness and fun. The Warrior Factory states that it does not have any affiliation with American Ninja Warrior, Ninja Warrior, Sasuke, TBS, or NBC.

The program’s history notes that in 2016 Bernard and Carl developed the idea that ninja as a hobby could become something more, and in February 2017 construction began on the first “Obstacle Park.” Listed credentials and awards include the “MELCHER EARNS ‘DAVID’ AWARD,” local ninjas placing at the top of the podium at a regional competition, and 33 local youth athletes featured in the World Ninja League Championships. Additional competitive results include course testing for American Ninja Warrior 11 in Seattle, Washington; 3rd place overall at Cinco de Mjolnir ULTRA VIKING 8 HOUR 2019 in Greenville, New York; 1st place age group at the Lilac Festival 5K 2019 in Rochester, New York; first place at Goliathon G8 on June 3, 2023; first place in the Adult Male division at WNL Tier 1 Midwest Regionals 2024; and tenth place in the Adult Male division at WNL Tier 1 World Champion 2024.
