About the provider
Kids In Sports was founded in 1999 by Michael Strutt and Kenneth Colon. It was developed by educators, and the founders hold degrees in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology. Both founders are former collegiate sports athletes and have worked professionally as accredited Personal Trainers and Coaches. The program states that athletics, when taught correctly, can improve a child’s overall development and provide lasting benefits that go beyond the game.
With a 1 to 5 coach to kid ratio, instructors introduce children to a range of team based sports that are age appropriate and help build developmental skills. The program helps children learn to work together, follow directions and socialize with others.
