• Ages: 2–3 years old
Each camp group at WRT Summer PlayPlace is led by experienced preschool teachers. The program is supported by Camp Coordinator Ellen Rosenberg, Westchester Reform Temple’s Early Childhood Center Director Rebecca Roseman, and Early Childhood Center Assistant Director Jen Brauntuch. The program’s stated mission is that natural play is one of the joys of childhood, and that at Westchester Reform Temple children make friends, build skills, and have fun in a vibrant community infused with Jewish values. The mission also states that preschoolers are encouraged to explore and expand boundaries through group and individual play, and that teamwork and cooperative play are integral to the camp program. One parent testimonial states that WRT is teaching their son and instilling Jewish values in a way that makes him excited to attend, and that he looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends, who the parent describes as extended family.
