Summer Stars Summer Program

Summer Stars Summer Program includes daily Water Play, weather permitting, with sprinklers, water games, and inflatables with a water feature. The program also offers Sports, Music, Art, Storytelling, Cooking, Nature activities, creative movement, and a weekly camp gathering where children sing and cheer together.

• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Seven-week summer program with options including a three-day schedule for toddlers 18–30 months, 3 or 5 mornings a week for 2-year-olds, and half-day or full-day options for 3–5-year-olds

Summer Stars Summer Program is in session for 7 fun-filled weeks each summer. For children ages 3 to 5, the program offers a half-day option from 9:00am–12:00pm or a full-day option from 9:00am–2:00pm. Toddlers ages 18 to 30 months have a three-day option, and 2-year-olds may attend 3 or 5 mornings a week.

Summer Stars Summer Program features some of the Mazel Tots Early Childhood teachers and specialists. The program follows the Mazel Tots mission statement to provide a warm and stimulating play-based environment that encourages children to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is open to anyone interested, and enrollment in the school is not required to join Summer Stars.

The leadership team connected to the program includes Jody Glassman, Director of Early Childhood; Rabbi Jeffrey Brown, Rabbi; Cantor Chanin Becker, Cantor; Fawn Mendel, Executive Director/Director of Marketing and Communications; and Ally Glassman, Religious School Director. The broader community involvement connected to this setting includes participation with the United Interfaith Food Bank and the 914 Cares Volunteer Night.
