The Robin's Nest at Phelps Child Care Center offers a daily program for children ages 2 months to 5 years old, as well as an after-school and summer program for school-aged children. Activities are created to enhance the individual development of each child and include both planned activities and spontaneous learning centered around children's interests and abilities. The program provides regular snacks and meals along with a rest period.
The Robin's Nest is focused on promoting high-quality learning for young children, with a goal for each child that includes promoting physical and emotional health and creating a positive and safe learning environment as they develop their abilities to care for themselves and interact with the world around them. The staff is trained and capable of providing the quality of care described by the program. The program has earned NAEYC Accreditation and meets all 10 NAEYC standards of excellence in early childhood education.
