Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area Youth Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area (BGCCA) Youth Programs includes Universal Pre-Kindergarten classes, AfterSchool, Summer Camp, and Teen programming called The CLUB. Summer Camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and costs $260 per week, and breakfast is provided from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at no additional charge.

Programs

• Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) — Pre-K · Provided in select Albany County schools; BGCCA has operated UPK classes in partnership with the Albany School District since 1998.
• AfterSchool (ASP) — Ages 5-12 · BGCCA provides a safe and secure environment for children ages 5-12.
• Summer Camp — Ages 5-12 · Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM · $260 per week
• Teen programming / The CLUB — Ages 13-18 · A safe and judgement free space for teens age 13-18 in Albany and Troy, NY.

About the provider

BGCCA merged in 2019. It has operated Universal Pre-Kindergarten classes since 1998 and a licensed kitchen since 2014. BGCCA is a 501c3 non-profit organization and holds a Platinum standard from Candid and Four-Stars from Charity Navigator. It serves youth in Albany and Rensselaer counties and provides more than 200,000 meals annually to youth and other community youth organizations.

Sliding scale financial assistance is available. $25/week sibling discount per additional child. $50/week non-refundable deposit due at registration. Payment in full is due 2 weeks prior to the registered week.
