The Arts Center of the Capital Region was founded in 1962. Its mission is to enable people to create and to engage in the arts. It serves the Capital Region, serves 40,000 people each year from the eleven counties surrounding Troy, offers scholarships for all programs, and provides programs for children and adults with disabilities.
