Harmony Early Learning offers daily activities that include dramatic play, science, reading, manipulatives, art, blocks, music and movement time, and outdoor play. Each classroom is equipped with centers for dramatic play, science, reading, manipulatives, art, and blocks. Outdoor play includes access to slides, see-saws, sand and water tables, a playhouse, a play construction zone, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and other toys that support active and dramatic play.
• Ages: 6 weeks–5 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with core hours 9am–4pm and extended hours available 7am–6pm; 10-month (September–June) and 12-month (September–August) options, plus an 8-week summer program
Harmony Early Learning was founded in 2013. The program is led by Owner/Director, Allison Ulin. Harmony Early Learning uses the Creative Curriculum®. It is a fully licensed daycare center through the New York State Department Office of Child and Family Services. The school has four classrooms: Infant (6 weeks–18 months), Toddler (18 months–3 years), Preschool (3–4 years), and Pre-K (for children entering kindergarten the following year). Harmony provides natural and/or organic snacks such as fresh fruit, whole grain cereals, bread and crackers, and yogurt. Physical activity is included through music and movement time indoors and outdoor play, and students, including infants, go outside once in the morning and again in the afternoon year-round as long as weather permits. The 10-month schedule follows the Levittown Public School calendar and does not include school breaks or holidays, while the 12-month schedule includes public school breaks and the 8-week summer program. The main objective at Harmony is to provide a place where children can learn, create, and explore the world around them and parents can be confident that their children are being cared for in a safe and fun environment.
