Harmony Early Learning offers daily music and movement time indoors and outdoor play. Students, including infants, go outside once in the morning and again in the afternoon year-round as long as weather permits. The playground includes slides, see-saws, sand and water tables, a playhouse, a play construction zone, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and other toys that support active and dramatic play.
• Ages: 6 weeks–5 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, with extended hours available 7am–6pm; 10 Month Program (September–June) and 12 Month Program (September–August), plus an 8-Week Summer Program
Harmony Early Learning was founded in 2013. The program provides care in four classrooms: Infant (6 weeks–18 months), Toddler (18 months–3 years), Preschool (3–4 years), and Pre-K (for children entering kindergarten the following year). Harmony uses the Creative Curriculum®. Each classroom includes centers for dramatic play, science, reading, manipulatives, art, and blocks. Harmony offers natural and/or organic snacks such as fresh fruit, whole grain cereals, bread and crackers, and yogurt. Harmony Early Learning is a fully licensed daycare center through the New York State Department Office of Child and Family Services. The Owner/Director is Allison Ulin. Harmony provides quality care for children ages 6 weeks–5 years and is described as a school that feels like a home.
