Long Island Voyagers Day Camp includes activities such as exploring museums, visiting beaches, attending baseball games and amusement parks, and going on day trips to various locations. Campers take part in swimming in one of the best pools on Long Island, pool days, basketball and other sports, arts & crafts, farm visits, laser tag, and special events like BBQ’s, Italian Ice Fests, Smore’s Day, Talent Shows, and Hoola Hoop Contests. The camp is a travel camp, and all trips and door to door transportation are included in the tuition, with swimming scheduled three times a week.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: 8-week summer program from Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 21st, 2026 (closed Friday, July 3rd), with options to choose between a minimum of two consecutive weeks and a maximum of eight weeks; pick up between 8–9am and drop off between 4–5pm
The 2026 camp season is organized into eight weekly sessions: Week 1 (June 29–July 2, no July 3), Week 2 (July 6–July 10), Week 3 (July 13–July 17), Week 4 (July 20–July 24), Week 5 (July 27–July 31), Week 6 (August 3–August 7), Week 7 (August 10–August 14), and Week 8 (August 17–August 21). The camp’s destination site is Wantagh Pool and Park, where campers swim, play sports, and do arts & crafts, and where they also have BBQ’s, Italian Ice Fests, Smore’s Day, Talent Shows, and Hoola Hoop Contests a few times a week, with travel to other locations on the remaining days.
The camp’s mission states that Long Island Voyagers Day Camp offers a program that is both enriching and fun, and an opportunity for children to broaden their horizons, develop self-confidence, use their imagination, find adventure, and develop lifelong friends. The staff holds CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, and lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors are provided during swim according to Nassau County Health Department regulations. Director Dina Marie Marrazzo graduated from Dowling College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and from Hofstra University with a Master’s Degree in Literacy Studies, teaches elementary school children on Long Island, owns and operates Long Island Voyagers Day Camp, and holds CPR, First Aid, AED, Epi Pen, and Lifeguard certifications.
