Summer at Old Trail offers over 100 uniquely themed camps, including options such as drone pilot, athlete, Fairy Week, Trailblazers, Forts and Tunnels, and camps that include field trips. Each week-long camp has a specific focus, and in 2024 more than 80 field trip outings were planned as part of the summer experience. In 2024, 723 campers participated in Summer at Old Trail, filling over 2,200 camp spots across the season.

• Schedule: Eight weeks of themed camps each summer, with many camps running Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Price: A three-month installment payment option for camp tuition is offered.
Summer at Old Trail serves over 700 children ages 3–14 each year from across Northeast Ohio. Camps are described as Akron's premier summer camp destination and include a diverse range of specialized options that encourage children to explore, grow, play and learn. Programs are described as flexible and stimulating, with camps intentionally designed to accommodate busy summer schedules, including flexible extended care options with early drop-off and late pick-up. Bus transportation services are available, with pick-up and drop-off locations in the Brecksville and Hudson communities, and campers have daily access to a 62-acre campus in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The camp leadership team includes Camp Director Jessica Cvelbar and Assistant Camp Director Ashley Dennison. Staff of expert instructors in 2024 included 23 Old Trail School teachers. Summer at Old Trail is described as being built on a foundation of care and connection in every aspect of the camp community and is committed to providing a fun, safe and stimulating summer where every child can dive deeper into their passions and create unforgettable memories.
Old Trail School states that it is a vibrant educational community focused on academic excellence and on developing intellectually curious, independent-thinking students who have a passion for discovery, critical thinking and collaborative learning. Old Trail School is the only independent school in the nation located within a national park.
