About
Fairmount Summer Camp includes weekly themes, outdoor exploration, guest performances, art, field trips, and water play. Campers take part in visits to the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center, a picnic at Squire’s Castle, a Fourth of July parade, dance parties, sing-a-longs, and a carnival with bounce houses. Daily snacks are provided, and parents and guardians are asked to send a packed lunch and drink for their campers.
• Ages: 3–5 years old
• Schedule: Preschool to Pre-K meets from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Pre-K to Kindergarten meets from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Fairmount Summer Camp is part of a Step Up To Quality Gold-Rated program. The mission of the program is “Developing Intellectual Entrepreneurs with a Social Conscience.” Leadership for the program includes Jennifer Kobylski as the contact for Fairmount Early Childhood Summer Camp, Michelle Nizen as Principal, and Karen Leeds as Preschool Director. Registration opens for Beachwood residents on February 9 and for non-residents on March 2, and the program welcomes both Beachwood residents and families from outside the community.
