A Kid Again Adventures

A Kid Again Adventures offers cost-free, in-person outings for families raising a child with a life-threatening condition. The program organizes trips to amusement parks, sporting events, zoos, theme parks, entertainment centers, and museums. Everything needed for these Adventures, including admission, food, and parking, is provided.

A Kid Again Adventures offers in-person cost-free and care-free Adventures, as well as Anytime Adventure virtual offerings. The program’s mission statement is that A Kid Again gives that joy back through cost-free Adventures where families laugh, connect, and feel “normal” again. The organization’s leadership includes Co-Founder Kathy Derr. Families, donors, and volunteers describe experiences with A Kid Again Adventures that include big smiles on kids’ faces, parents grateful for a fun day with their families, and a focus on hope, happiness, and healing. The program is part of a community of entertainment businesses, donors, and volunteers that enable accessible family outings year-round.
