Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio offers Adventure Camp, Little Explorers Camp, Teen Empowerment Camp, Youth Empowerment Institute, and Specialized Camps. Activities include swimming, canoeing, hiking, environmental education, team building, games, crafts, hands-on STEAM activities, cooking, maintaining a living space, and building leadership skills.

Programs

• Adventure Camp — children ages 8-12 · Join us in the beautiful Hocking Hills region. Campers participate in swimming, canoeing, hiking, environmental education, team building, games, crafts, and more.
• Teen Empowerment Camp — youth ages 13-16 · over the summer · Empowers youth as they transition into high school and beyond. Teens practice maintaining a living space, cooking, and building leadership skills.
• Little Explorers Camp — children ages 6-9 · A condensed version of Adventure Camp with smaller staff-to-camper ratios. Focuses on building resilience, exploring the outdoors safely, and making new friends.
• Youth Empowerment Institute — youth in grades 6-12 · throughout the school year, one weekend per month · Introduces campers to experts in STEAM fields and provides hands-on activities. Team building and resilience are infused into the program.
• Specialized Camps — Includes Teen Leadership Summit, Latino Week, Morrow/Union/Delaware (M.U.D.) Week, Girls Only Week, and Camp Lionheart.
