Central Ohio Martial Arts offers martial art classes that include Tae Kwon Do (Ji Do Kwan), Haidong Gumdo Korean Sword, Hapkido, Gongkwon Yusul, Hopaesool, Gungsul Korean Traditional Archery, and Tai Chi. The program also offers self-defense classes, self-defense workshops, and American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS classes. Instruction is available for anyone from age 6 and up, and the head instructor especially enjoys teaching children.

Master Laura Clements has been the owner and head instructor of Central Ohio Martial Arts and Supply since 1999 and has over 30 years of experience in martial arts. She has taught hundreds of students and has promoted over 100 individuals to Black Belt. All Black Belts at Central Ohio Martial Arts are certified in world federations and in national federations. Master Laura has experience teaching ADHD/ADD, mildly autistic, deaf, and special needs children and adults.
Master Laura is a Tae Kwon Do Master, Haidong Gumdo Chief Master, Hapkido Master, Gongkwon Yusul Master/Director, Kickboxing Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED and BLS Instructor, and Hopaesool Instructor. She holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do (United States National Tae Kwon Do Federation and Kukkiwon Certified), a 7th Degree Black Belt in Haidong Gumdo (World Haidong Gumdo Federation Certified), a 5th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido (Hapkidowon World Hapkido Headquarters Certified), a 4th Degree Black Belt in Gongkwon Yusul (International Gongkwon Yusul Association Certified), and is a Hopeasool Instructor (Hopeasool World Federation Certified). She is an International Referee for Gongkwon Yusul under the International Gongkwon Yusul Association, an International Referee for Tae Kwon Do under the United States National Taekwondo Federation, and an International Referee for Haidong Gumdo under the World Haidong Gumdo Federation.
Tae Kwon Do at Central Ohio Martial Arts is taught under the direction of Dr. Duk Gun Kwon, President of the United States National Taekwondo Federation. Haidong Gumdo is taught under the direction of Grand Master Jeong Ho Kim, President of the World Haidong Gumdo Federation, with assistance from Grand Master Jong Gu Lee, Vice-President of the World Haidong Gumdo Federation. Hapkido is taught under the direction of Grand Master Jason Mix, a director of World Union Hapkido, and was formerly under Grand Master Kwang Sik Myung (late), President of the World Hapkido Federation. Gongkwon Yusul is taught under the direction of Grand Master Jun Kang, President of the International Gongkwon Yusul Association.
Master Laura has taught martial art classes and self-defense in a variety of community settings, including Sunbury Home Educators (2006–2009), ACPA (2002–2006), OSU College of Social Work (1999–2003), OSU Continuing Education for Human Service Professionals (2000–2003), Ecole After School Program (2000), Central Ohio Tae Kwon Do (1993–1999), the Korean American School at Central Ohio (1993–1998), Worthington School's Evening Classes (1992–1996), and YMCA North (1992–1997).
Her credentials and awards include multiple certifications and recognitions from the United States National Taekwondo Federation, Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters, the World Haidong Gumdo Federation, and Hapkidowon. These include Grand Master Instructor Certification in Tae Kwon Do (2017), Master Instructor Certifications in Tae Kwon Do (2005) and Hapkido (2008), Master Instructor Certification in Haidong Gumdo (2004), Instructor Certification in Gongkwon Yusul (2012), and membership in the Hapkidowon (2016–2025). She is the U.S. Chief Master for the World Haidong Gumdo Federation and the Ohio Director for the United States National Taekwondo Federation. Her awards include national and international medals, trophies, and grand championships, such as the 2004 World Haidong Gumdo Federation Championship Gold Medal in sword forms, the 2006 World Haidong Gumdo Federation Championship 3rd place in Grand Championships Bamboo Cutting, the 2003 United States National Taekwondo Federation International Championship Adult Grand Champion in Tae Kwon Do forms, the 2005 United States National Taekwondo Federation Christmas Tournament Grand Champion in Tae Kwon Do forms, and the 2012 United States National Taekwondo Federation 18th International Championships Women's Forms Grand Champion. She has also received multiple Special Appreciation and Special Recognition Awards from the United States National Taekwondo Federation, a Special Recognition Award from the World Haidong Gumdo Federation, an OSU Appreciation Award from the Ohio State University College of Social Work, Community Service Awards, commendations from the Ohio House of Representatives, and Lifetime Membership in the Jidokwan Historical Society. Central Ohio Martial Arts was recognized as a Best School Top 3 in Haidong Gumdo and as a Demonstration Team in Haidong Gumdo at the 2018 2nd PanAm Mulimpia.
