Cooking Classes and Camps offers a full menu of classes, workshops, and camps that focus on gardening, cooking, fine art, and wellness. The program uses a demonstration kitchen and a Live-Fire Cooking Theater as part of its cooking activities, alongside gardening spaces that include an apiary, rose pavilion, berry house, and community garden plots.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has been creating memories since 1993, and the John F. Wolfe Palm House dates back to 1895. The Conservatory as it is today opened in 1993. Its mission statement is: “As a premier botanical garden destination, we connect people to nature and create life-enhancing experiences.” The organization’s leadership team includes President & CEO Bruce Harkey, along with vice presidents and directors overseeing planning, event sales and facilities, horticulture and exhibitions, marketing and communications, community outreach and education, human resources, visitor experience, and philanthropy, as well as a Chief Financial Officer. Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2025 honor by Columbus Top Workplaces. The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus is open to the public at no charge from dawn until dusk.
