FBC Kids offers times for children to learn the Bible, play, create, and learn along with their peers. The program includes AWANA and Kids Summer Discipleship as part of its activities. Every child in FBC Kids must be securely checked in before entering the children’s ministry areas.
• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Sunday FBC Kids Worship Services in the morning and AWANA on Wednesday evenings during the school year
• Price: FBC Kids is an awesome, free experience for kids on Sunday mornings.
FBC Kids includes FBC Kids ministries and FBC Kids Nursery, with nursery care available for newborns at least 6 weeks old through age 3 at all regularly scheduled services. The children’s ministry areas are equipped with electronic safety locks and security cameras for accountability and are monitored by an active safety team. The nurseries are peanut and tree nut free. Kingdom Kids ministry provides a “buddy” for one-on-one attention for little ones with special needs and disabilities. If a child has a special need or allergy, parents are asked to share that information when they arrive.
Every childcare volunteer is required to complete a thorough background check and additional child safety training, and every FBC Kids volunteer is required to pass a background check and child safety training course. The FBC Kids Director is Stacey Barrett. The mission statement for the program is: “We are a family going above and beyond to help people find and follow Jesus.”
